Durmex (Chlorpyrifos 20% EC) is a broad-spectrum insecticide used for controlling pests such as stem borer, leaf folder, gall midge and whorl maggot in paddy; aphids, bollworms and whitefly in cotton; black bug, early shoot & stalk borer and Pyrilla in sugarcane; root grub and aphids in groundnut; and cutworm in gram. It is also registered for specific pest–crop combinations including brinjal, cabbage, onion, mustard, beans, citrus, apple, ber and tobacco.
