ZUDIO (Novaluron 5.25% + Emamectin Benzoate 0.9% SC) is a combination insecticide used mainly against lepidopteran/caterpillar pests. It is used for stem borer in paddy, gram pod borer in red gram, fruit/pod borer and tobacco caterpillar in chilli, and diamondback moth and tobacco caterpillar in cabbage. The two active ingredients provide complementary action: novaluron disrupts insect moulting, while emamectin benzoate acts mainly through ingestion and translaminar activity.
