Emamate (Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG) is an insecticide mainly used against caterpillar and borer pests. It is commonly recommended for cotton – bollworms; okra and brinjal – fruit & shoot borer; cabbage – diamondback moth; chilli – fruit borer, thrips and mites; chickpea and red gram – pod borer; grapes – thrips; and tea – tea looper.
